AWAYAWAY.com was first registered in 2004 for the sole purpose of setting up a travel related website, but was originally earmarked for a travelogue type site, with journals and photographs of locations around the world.Over time, many request were received from travel business wishing ot place listings and thus, a directory was born.

Over the coure of it's life, AWAYWAY has undergone four major design changes, with the latest being released early in 2011. Along with this incarnation came a great mant new features and listing opportunities.
